MenuGuide Terms of Service

Welcome to MenuGuide! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MenuGuide application (the "Service") operated by MenuGuide AI ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

MenuGuide is provided as a Freemium app with both free and premium paid features. The basic Service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is, while premium features require payment as described in our subscription plans.

Our Service allows you to scan, translate, and understand restaurant menus in various languages. You may use the Service only as permitted by law and according to these Terms.

You may not:

Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the software

Distribute, sell, lease, or transfer the Service to third parties

Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service

Upload or transmit any malicious code or software

Some features of our Service require a subscription. You can subscribe to these features through the app by paying a subscription fee as indicated in the app's pricing section.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) after purchase.

While we strive to provide accurate menu translations and information, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy of all translations, dish descriptions, allergen information, or other content. The Service uses artificial intelligence to process and translate text, which may result in occasional errors or misinterpretations.

You acknowledge that you should not rely solely on the Service for critical information about allergens if you have severe allergies or dietary restrictions.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MenuGuide AI and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of MenuGuide AI.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

In no event shall MenuGuide AI, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your use or inability to use the Service

Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information stored therein

Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service

Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service

Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your use of any content posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Service

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

MenuGuide AI, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and licensors do not warrant that: (a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; (b) any errors or defects will be corrected; (c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or (d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
